Welcome to my art world!
I’m Maya, a visual artist originally from Mexico, now creating out of my studio in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I specialize in bringing vibrant energy to life through mix media, watercolours, and striking acrylic paintings.
My work spans from loose, expressive florals and colourful wildlife portraits to deeply soulful contemporary figures. Through every piece, I explore themes of self-actualization, authenticity, and freedom, using bold color and fluid movement to capture pure joy on canvas.
